1.                    Liability

Although the Swiss Farmers’ Union takes care that published information is correct, it cannot assume any guarantee for the correctness, accuracy, currentness, reliability, or completeness of this information.

The Swiss Farmers’ Union reserves the right to entirely or partially modify, delete or temporarily not publish content at any time without notice.

Liability claims against the Swiss Farmers’ Union due to tangible or intangible damages caused by access to, use of, or failure to use the published information, misuse of the connection or technical difficulties are excluded.

2.                    References and links

References and links to third party websites fall outside the Swiss Farmers’ Union’s sphere of responsibility. Access to and use of such websites is at the user’s own risk. The Swiss Farmers’ Union explicitly declares that it has no influence on the design, content, or offers of linked sites. Information and services provided by linked websites are entirely the responsibility of the third party in question.

All responsibility for such websites is denied.

3.                    Data protection

According to Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the federal government, every person has a claim to protection of their private sphere and to protection against misuse of their personal data. The Swiss Farmers’ Union adheres to these provisions. Personal data is handled with strict confidentiality and is not sold or passed on to third parties.

In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect our databases as well as possible from outside attacks, losses, misuse, or falsification.

When you access our website, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser query, and general information transferred about the operating system and browser.

This user data is the basis for statistical, anonymous assessments used to detect trends. The Swiss Farmers’ Union uses the data to improve its range of offers. Under federal laws regarding monitoring of postal and telecommunications traffic (BÜPF), there is a legal obligation to store connection data from the last six months.

If you voluntarily contact us, your email address will be stored in a separate database not linked to the anonymous log files. You have the option of cancelling your registration at any time.

4.                    Copyright

Information on the Swiss Farmers’ Union’s website is made accessible to the public. Downloading or copying content, images, photographs, or other files does not transfer any rights to this content.

Copyrights and all other rights to content, images, photographs, or other files on the Swiss Farmers’ Union’s website belong solely to the SBV or specially named holders of rights. The written permission of the copyright holder must be obtained in advance in order to reproduce any elements.
